Know ye all that, mindful of the fleeting and precarious nature of all temporal existence and earthly life, for the good of our souls and the souls of others named herein, and in thanksgiving for the friendship between our two peoples and especially the Lord Talanque and Lady Rowanlynn, Baron and Baroness of Calafia, that we, Sir Armand and Lady Diana, Baron and Baroness of Gyldenholt, do give and grant unto the Abbey of Leng the fief of San Mateo and all lands, chattels and appurtenances thereto from Avenida Calafia south to San Mateo Creek, and from the King's Coast Road west to the sea, to hold in perpetuity for the giving of alms to the poor every fortnight and for the daily saying of prayers for the souls of Lord Talanque and Lady Rowanlynn and Sir Armand and lady that their peace in this world and their salvation in the world to come might be more assured and that their friendship and the friendship of their estates be everlasting. By our willing hand this 16th day of August the year XV, Anno Societatis, aka 1980 A.D.
Sir Armand de Savigny, Baron of Gyldenholt Diana de Savigny, Baroness of Gyldenholt
